This Sunday, September 14, the Tor des Géants will set off from Courmayeur, Italy—one of the most challenging ultramarathons in the Alps. Bolesławiec resident Daniel Milewicz, an ultramarathon runner and, in his everyday work, a well-known dietitian, will take part.
He—and the other participants in the event—face quite a challenge: a 330-kilometer course with an elevation gain of as much as 24,000 meters and a 150-hour time limit. The race takes place in the Italian, French and Swiss parts of the Alps.
