Bolesławiec criminal investigators identified the perpetrator of a burglary at a supermarket. – The man broke into the commercial premises at night and stole tobacco products worth more than PLN 11,000. The criminal’s haul consisted of cigarettes that were located near the store’s checkout counters – reports Staff Aspirant Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec.
She adds: – The man was so greedy that he had to carry the goods out of the store twice because he was unable to take everything he had prepared in one trip.
The man from Bolesławiec who was arrested has already been charged. He told the officers that he no longer had the stolen cigarettes because he smoked some, sold some and gave the rest to his acquaintances.
Burglary is punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
