The issue of the proposal to change the name of Kutuzova Street in Bolesławiec returned at the August session of the Bolesławiec City Council. Mayor Piotr Roman, presenting his report, informed the councillors that public consultations had been held on the matter:
Most people did not support the proposal; they want to keep the name.
But he immediately added:
I will respect this result, but I think that further talks will still have to be held with these people.
