There is information circulating online that OBI and another Biedronka store will be built on Staroszkolna Street in Bolesławiec. Jacek Wesołowski, Managing Director of Trei Real Estate Poland, told istotne.pl:
We are currently in the process of selecting tenants. Negotiations with various brands are ongoing, and we are also talking to the owners of OBI and Biedronka.
We previously reported that a McDonald’s restaurant was to be built on Staroszkolna Street, but ultimately a restaurant of that chain was built elsewhere. The director of Trei Real Estate Poland addressed the issue as follows:
We are not planning a McDonald’s restaurant on the site of our investment in Bolesławiec. The investment is at an early stage, so if another food-service tenant is interested in this location, we will then begin talks.
Which stores will be located in Bolesławiec’s Vendo Park?
Director: – We have already signed agreements with Pepco, Dealz, KiK and the RTV EURO AGD chain of stores. We are also in talks with other partners, including a well-known drugstore chain. We will supplement our Vendo Park’s offering with a grocery operator. We would like it to be Biedronka, but negotiations are still ongoing in this regard as well.
When will the investment begin?
Construction is scheduled to begin – at the earliest – in the second quarter of 2023. If work begins then, Vendo Park will open at the beginning of 2024
