On the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, someone deliberately set fire to a production hall in Zebrzydowa. The Bolesławiec fire service received information about the fire at 2:18 a.m. The firefighting operation was exceptionally difficult. The fire consumed flammable materials and liquids. The high temperature caused the building’s structural elements to deform. For this reason, the commander ordered the firefighters to leave the hall. The operation ended at 6:20 a.m. Six fire service units took part in it. The losses were estimated at approximately PLN 500,000.
The cause of the fire was arson. The facility manufactured plastic components used in the production of trailers.
