On Sunday, 23 May, the TOP Bolesławiec Chess Tournament was held in the hall of Municipal School Complex No. 2. Thirty-eight players from Lower Silesia and Lubusz Land took part in the event.
The chess players competed in two categories: open and juniors. In the open category (and in the tournament overall), grandmaster Łukasz Cyborowski from Legnica won, finishing ahead of Ireneusz Łada from Jelenia Góra and Dariusz Rymaszewski from the “Dany” Chojnów club. In the juniors’ category, Piotr Terochin from Legnica came first.
