At approximately 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 20, Bogusław Nowak entered the Glina Show town area with his family and their lawyer friend Patrycja Complak. At the very beginning, all participants in the clay event were convinced that the group painted with clay slip wanted to have fun together with all the guests and residents of Bolesławiec.
After entering the town area, the leader of the strange show began insulting the organizers and shouting abuse. The lawyer also behaved aggressively, despite attempts to engage with her. The Nowak group also included people who did not speak Polish and only said, “I’m sorry, I don’t understand anything,” as well as people who wanted to interact and have fun together. The aggressive behavior of the Nowak family made this difficult.
The leaflets taken from them promoting this embarrassing show revealed that Nowak’s group was advertising itself with the image of a deceased person who had participated in Gliniada years ago and was associated with the idea, “We are all made of the same clay.” When we drew Nowak’s son’s attention to this, he responded with something vulgar and walked away. Nowak himself publicly shouted at the Glina Show organizers while riding a bicycle. It is shown in a video.
During the show by the Nowak family and their acquaintances, the Gliniada trademark was infringed; the publisher of istotne.pl owns the rights to it. The matter will go to court. The Nowaks—and probably other people who took part in the strange show—will be sued.
We describe details about the certificates of protection received by the publisher of istotne.pl in the article: No One Will Steal Gliniada from Us! At Last, the Event Is Strongly Connected with Bolesławiec. No costumed performer will disturb the peace anymore.
