The incident took place on Wednesday, 17 August. Volunteer firefighters from Krzyżowa:
(…) at 2:07 p.m. we were dispatched to fallen trees whose branches were protruding onto the road between Krzyżowa and Gromadka.
The firefighters add:
Our task was to secure the scene and remove the hazard using a petrol-powered chainsaw.
