As the ministry reports:
This is a response to a French request to the international community, submitted through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism. The request for assistance was received via the ERCC (Emergency Response Coordination Centre).
The remiza.com.pl service reported, meanwhile, that Poland is sending two GFFFV modules to France: “SZCZECIN” and “WROCŁAW”. One firefighting vehicle from Bolesławiec is part of—or, more precisely, a reserve for—the latter module. However, as we managed to establish, the Bolesławiec firefighters did not leave for France because they are busy extinguishing the remaining flames from the fire in the industrial zone in Osła. Uniformed officers from Lubań and Zgorzelec went to the country of Voltaire instead.
