Thanks to the commitment of instructors and scouts from the Szare Szeregi ZHP Scout Troop in Bolesławiec, 13 scouts from Zimbabwe arrived in the City of Ceramics. Tadeusz Łasica, an instructor from the Bolesławiec troop, managed to travel to Africa at the beginning of this year. Now the Zimbabweans have come for a return visit. (Although at first they had concerns about safety; after all, they knew that a war was being fought just beyond our border, in Ukraine.)
This is the first such exotic partnership for the Bolesławiec scouts, although not their first international one. Our scouts already cooperate with scouts from Scotland.
The guests from Zimbabwe came to Bolesławiec for 12 days. They have already had the opportunity to taste traditional Polish dishes and visit the local monuments and forests. However, there had to be a ceramic element as well. The Africans visited the Bolesławiec Manufaktura.
What surprised them? The fact that we use machines to produce vessels, while among them hands are enough.
