A ceremonial assembly was held in Bolesławiec Market Square to mark the 86th anniversary of the establishment of Szare Szeregi, the patron of the ZHP District in Bolesławiec.
The Scout District Celebration was an opportunity to celebrate together as a scouting community and recall the values that the name Szare Szeregi has represented for years. The event was attended by scouts, instructors and invited guests, including representatives of local government authorities.
During the ceremony, awards were presented to female and male scouts who had made particular contributions to instructional work, as well as decorations connected with the 80th anniversary of scouting in Lower Silesia.
Bolesławiec County: – Among those honored was, among others, Bolesławiec County Governor Tomasz Gabrysiak, who emphasized how important the role of scouts is, as they carry out their assigned tasks with energy and commitment. The County Governor did not hide his emotion at receiving the award.
The office adds: – For generations, scouts have shown that they can always be relied on – through their service, energy and readiness to act. They are the force that brings people of different ages together and a model of responsibility for the community.
