Bolesławiec traffic officers stopped a vehicle during a speed check in Kraśnik Dolny. In a built-up area with a 40 km/h speed limit, it was travelling at 92 km/h. The driver was a 53-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County.
– The officers suspended the man’s driving licence for 3 months and fined him PLN 1,500 and 10 penalty points – reports Staff Aspirant Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec.
She adds:
Residents identify Kraśnik Dolny on the National Safety Threat Map as a place where speeding occurs. Bolesławiec traffic officers will continue stepped-up checks in the area to see whether drivers are obeying traffic regulations.
