– Lower Silesian Customs and Tax Service officials, working with Police officers, inspected a property in Wałbrzych. A service dog from the Lower Silesian KAS detected trace amounts of drugs on the kitchen worktop and in 100 ml bottles – reports Agnieszka Rzeźnicka-Gniadek, press spokesperson for the Lower Silesian National Revenue Administration. – Using a drug detector, the officers confirmed that the substance they found was amphetamine.

During a search of other rooms in the house, Aria sniffed out zip-lock bags containing remnants of a white substance in a waste bin, as well as a black bag containing a clumped white mass. Tests showed that the substances found were amphetamine and caffeine. All the semi-finished products and concentrated fruit juices found were ingredients used to produce the final product—a syrup.

The spokesperson adds:

The officers also found 100 ml bottles containing an unknown substance on the premises of the inspected house. One of the packages bore the name of a pharmaceutical product known as a weight-loss agent.

And she explains: – In Poland, this pharmaceutical is not approved for sale, and purchasing it is illegal because it is classified as a doping and narcotic substance.

As a result of joint action by the Lower Silesian KAS and the Police, the illegal distribution of pharmaceutical products dangerous to health and life was stopped.
