Our Reader’s words have come true. A car burned down in Iwiny, and it had been used by people breaking the law. (This was confirmed by the Bolesławiec police).
Is that why it burned down? It is not known.
Let us recall. We reported on the matter last Monday. At the time, the County Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec reported:
On Kościuszki Street, within 26 hours, police officers stopped the same vehicle for inspection twice. Each time, there was a different driver, different registration plates, a different offense, and driving after consuming alcohol.
On Friday, July 8, traffic police stopped a vehicle driven by a 37-year-old woman from Złotoryja County. The County Police Headquarters: – The woman was after consuming alcohol and had violated a court ban on driving vehicles.
The following day, the same car was driven by a man—a 29-year-old resident of Złotoryja County. He, too, had consumed alcohol, his driving privileges had been revoked, and the vehicle had different, stolen registration plates fitted.
What will happen to the wreck—for now, it is unknown.
