On Saturday, May 8, the Lower Silesian Junior Championships were held in Bogatynia. Representatives of MKS Bolesłavia won as many as 24 medals, including 7 gold and 10 silver. Gold was won by: Agnieszka Dalmata (shot put), Sebastian Drozd (hammer throw), Katarzyna Romaszko (long jump), Kaja Caban (high jump), Katarzyna Romaszko (triple jump), Karol Wojdyła (high jump) and Aneta Bujak (javelin throw).
Silver medals went to: Beata Dąbal (hammer throw), Agnieszka Dalmata (discus throw), Maciejowi Chojnackiemu (110-metre hurdles), Beata Dąbal (shot put), Zuzanna Trościńska (long jump), Justyna Mieniek (triple jump), Maciejowi Parobczakowi (100-metre run), Katarzyna Jankowska (800-metre run) and Maciejowi Chojnackiemu (400-metre hurdles).
Silver was also won by the 4x100-metre relay team consisting of: Mateusz Janik, Patryk Dudyński, Maciej Chojnacki and Kamil Członka.
Bronze medals were won by: Justyna Mieniek (long jump), Marcin Zgodziński (110-metre hurdles), Sebastian Drozd (discus throw), Mateusz Pawluk (400-metre run), Martyna Cybulska (high jump), Maciej Parobczak (200-metre run) and Paulina Olszowy (1500-metre run).
Bolesłavia’s athletes are currently preparing for the Polish Championships, which will be held in Białystok (in the junior category) and Zielona Góra (in the younger junior category).
