Many investments are underway at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bolesławiec, ultimately intended to ensure an even higher quality and standard of patient care. There have never before been investments on such a scale in the hospital’s history.

Among other projects, the operating theatre is currently being expanded, as are the Emergency Department and intensive care unit. A new ambulance driveway is being built. Rooms that will house the hospital kitchen, laundry and utility facilities are also being renovated.

Additionally, on Wednesday (6 July), an agreement was signed for a project worth PLN 11.5 million, entitled “Comprehensive elimination of architectural barriers”:

The following will undergo comprehensive modernization:

  • internal medicine ward (50 beds),
  • dialysis station – 12 stations,
  • central sterilization unit,
  • 5 stairwells,
  • 4 elevators,
  • access routes to parking spaces for people with disabilities,
  • the queue management system in outpatient clinics.
