There is now a kiss and ride zone by the PKP railway station in Bolesławiec.

We were the first to report that the paid car park by the PKP railway station in Bolesławiec lacked the kiss and ride zone (literally “kiss and go”), which is popular in many places, including Poland. As it turns out, the manager has accommodated travelers.

– We signed an agreement to manage the car park in front of the station in Bolesławiec, which is managed on our behalf by an external entity. We plan to create a space there designated as a kiss & ride zone – Bartłomiej Sarna told istotne.pl on June 28. He is from the Commercialization, Communications and Promotion Office of Polskie Koleje Państwowe S.A.

Let us recall. On June 26, we reported that an information board displaying parking prices had been installed in front of the PKP railway station in Bolesławiec. There are parking meters in front of the station building, and they are already operating.

Parking fees:

  • parking for less than one hour: PLN 3
  • each additional hour: PLN 4
  • parking for 24 hours: PLN 40
  • fine for parking without a ticket: PLN 80

The driver will have 7 days to pay the fine; otherwise, it will increase to PLN 150.

We added at the time:

The signs and parking meters were installed on Saturday. They have been operating since Sunday. So far, almost no car parked in front of the station has had a parking ticket visible behind the windshield.
