Disruptions on the A4 until the end of July. The reason is known

As reported by the Wrocław branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways:

A4 motorway, between the Krzyżowa and Krzywa interchanges, will undergo repairs to its concrete surface.

When will the repairs begin?

Road operator: – The work is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, 6 July.

What will be done?

The repairs, road workers explain, will involve removing the surface where concrete slabs have cracked and replacing them with new slabs. They will be carried out in stages along approximately 10 km between the Krzyżowa and Krzywa interchanges. First, the work will be conducted on the carriageway towards Zgorzelec, and will then move to the carriageway towards Wrocław. GDDKiA: – At the section where the work is being carried out, one traffic lane will be closed and the speed limit will be reduced to 40 km/h.

The work will continue until the end of July. The road operator appeals to drivers to exercise caution.
