Last autumn, Agnieszka’s teenage daughter wanted to go to friends. Her mother did not give her permission.

– The mother punished her daughter by banning her from using her phone and laptop – says attorney Wojciech Kasprzyk, who is defending Agnieszka. – After that, the girl reported abuse to the police. Later, she reported other sexual acts. The girl claims that her mother inserted various objects into her vagina, including a glass, which allegedly broke during penetration and injured the teenager. After the daughter’s testimony, the prosecutor’s office detained the mother for two months in pre-trial detention in Wrocław. It turned out that the prosecutor’s office believed the child. The gynecological report that was prepared showed that the 15-year-old was a virgin and that her vagina was not injured. The psychiatrist examining the teenager was unable to confirm whether she was telling the truth. Attorney Agnieszka Śmigalska filed an appeal against the pre-trial detention, and we secured our client’s release – attorney Kasprzyk adds.

The woman was detained for two months. She is now free. The case will be heard in court. If the proceedings confirm that the teenager lied, the mother may demand substantial compensation from the State Treasury.
