– The director of the Social Welfare Home in Nielestno submitted a notification of suspected rape. The report stated that the incident was allegedly supposed to have occurred in February 2025 on the premises of the facility – Ewa Węglarowicz-Makowska, press spokeswoman for the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Jelenia Góra, told the lwowecki.info website.
The Social Welfare Home in Nielestno (Lwówek County) is a facility for men with intellectual disabilities. It is located in a historic palace and provides its residents with round-the-clock care, living and nursing support, as well as assistance in accessing healthcare services and contact with doctors and specialists.
The District Prosecutor’s Office in Lwówek Śląski launched an investigation into the case, which is still ongoing. Procedural activities are being carried out to collect and secure evidence. The proceedings are being conducted “in the case.” So far, no one has been charged.
