Councillors from Impuls Miasta launched a sexist attack on a journalist istotne.pl and her family: her daughter and her father. This was retaliation for the article titled Belly Dancing for Jesus, and a Tithe for the Church. A Parish Festival in Bolesławiec. The councillors wrote nothing substantive; instead, they made a personal attack.
The following text was published on the official Facebook profile of the Impuls Miasta councillors:
ATTENTION! CONTEST!
We have our own theory about the source of the hateful behavior of Bolesławiec’s chief hater... That is why we want to help her by announcing a contest that is not an easy one. We are looking for a man who will steal this lady’s heart forever, with her reciprocating. The prize: A hot weekend... oh, all right, a week for two in sunny Morocco rokokoko. (emoticons)
(Context in the comment. / Film still from "Sexmission," directed by J. Machulski)
Which councillor — Iwona Bojko, Dominik Chodyra, Maciej Małkowski, Łukasz Molak or Jacek Łuczkowski — specifically clicked publish? I’m betting on Małkowski or Molak, but I’m not sure. Perhaps the author will admit it, though I doubt it.
Below I present the response from my journalist, Grażyna Hanaf:
To Impuls Miasta
1983 was the year in which, among other things, militiamen killed Grzegorz Przemyk, martial law was lifted, and Lech Wałęsa received the Nobel Peace Prize. Machulski, meanwhile, showed the people “Sexmission,” a film for men who hate women.
In 2022, after #metoo and #womensstrike, women cannot be silenced with a sexist text claiming that the lack of a man is the cause of female frustration. Therefore, to the misogynists and sexists from Impuls Miasta Bolesławiec I have this to say: #FUCKOFF and #THISISWAR.
Your families, women and mothers are sacred; when you fight me, my family can be treated in a racist manner, and you can snicker at me in a sexist way as a woman and mother.
Regardless of what sexist text you come up with about me and racist text about my family, I will continue writing about how much money the Polish Church rakes in, the hypocrisy and wickedness with which it feeds people, how it does not pay taxes at a normal rate, how neither the Tax Office nor the Sanitary Inspectorate concerns it, how shamelessly it holds out its hand to parishioners and collects enormous sums from the faithful during price increases and inflation.
I will continue writing about how the Church disrespects free women, what kind of #hellforwomen it creates for women together with Kaja Godek, Ordo Iuris and PiS, and how it turns women into useful objects.
I stand with Grażyna’s words. I cannot stand it when a woman is told, supposedly as a joke, that she is worth something when she has a man. Therefore, to the male and female councillors from Impuls Miasta, on this matter I also say, using the Women’s Strike hashtag: #FUCKOFF with your sexism!
