A driver who experienced an unpleasant situation last Sunday contacted the istotne.pl editorial team. He decided to share it with readers:
Good morning. I am writing about a situation I experienced on Sunday. I left my car in the PKP car park. In a hurry, I parked the car in a space where taxis always park. The space is not marked with any lines, nor is there a sign indicating that it is reserved for them.
When I returned a few hours later, I had a punctured tire, and I was not the only one with the same problem, because a car with Ukrainian license plates also had a punctured tire—moreover, it was the same rear right tire.
Someone deliberately punctured the tires. A private taxi driver was at the scene. He claimed that taxi drivers from another company had done it, because he had already had unpleasant experiences with them.
The matter was not reported to the police. It is not known how the tires of the cars parked there were punctured. Although the area is considered a taxi parking area and taxis park there, there was no visible signage indicating that this part of the car park was exclusively for taxis. On Tuesday evening, June 14, road markings were painted there.
Taxi drivers from the company assure us that it was not them and suggest checking the surveillance footage from the camera installed at the PKP railway station. One of the men added that a catalytic converter had recently been cut out of a car parked directly beneath the camera at the station.
