A fire broke out on Tuesday, June 14, at a facility on Kościuszki Street in Bolesławiec. After 12:00 p.m., one of the machines caught fire, causing part of the production line to burn down. (The losses are substantial.)

The police are investigating the cause of the incident. Fortunately, no one was injured.

Firefighters praised the employees of the Bolesławiec company, who, firstly, began fighting the fire themselves and, secondly, also carried out the evacuation themselves before the emergency services arrived.

And thirdly, they guided the arriving officers very well. As brig. Piotr Pilarczyk, deputy head of the Bolesławiec District Headquarters of the State Fire Service, commented: “Fire safety training proves effective in such situations.”
