Prosecutor Lidia Tkaczyszyn, press spokesperson for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Legnica, told Radio Wrocław that investigators are examining whether the suspect is connected with earlier cases of animal poisoning in Legnica’s Sienkiewicza estate.
As reported by the Wrocław media outlet:
(…) the first poisonings on the Sienkiewicza estate reportedly took place as long as 10 years ago. In total, nearly a hundred animals were most probably victims of the poisoner. The police had already conducted more than one investigation into the Sienkiewicza poisoner, the last one in 2018; it was discontinued because the perpetrator was not identified.
