On the Facebook profile of Szpital Świętego Łukasza in Bolesławiec, we read:

World MS Day: on this occasion, the Stroke Prevention and Treatment Centre announces that a neurology clinic will soon begin operating at our hospital. It will enable more effective and faster diagnosis of patients with multiple sclerosis (MS).

The facility adds:

We would also like to inform you that, with the opening of the specialist clinic, our hospital plans to join drug program B.29, “Treatment of Multiple Sclerosis.” This program provides treatment for the relapsing-remitting form of MS. It most often begins with the administration of a drug belonging to the so-called first line, meaning drugs that act more gently and have fewer side effects. These include, above all, interferon beta and glatiramer acetate, which have been available on the market for more than a dozen years, as well as newer-generation, stronger drugs—dimethyl fumarate and teriflunomide.
