The accident occurred after 6:30 p.m. on Modrzewiowa Street in Osiedle Kwiatowe in Bolesławiec. Three passenger cars—a BMW, a Range Rover and an Audi—collided. Two of them were moving, while one was parked on the shoulder. A total of four people were traveling in the vehicles. Everyone managed to get out of the vehicles before emergency services arrived.
Police are determining the cause of the incident. Preliminary information indicates that the BMW driver forced the right of way. He pulled out from a minor road and hit the Range Rover, which then hit the Audi parked on the shoulder.
