The incident occurred during the night of April 23–24. At around 1:00 a.m., a municipal police officer monitoring the cameras noticed two men walking toward Wańkowicza Street. At one point, one of them began jumping onto cars. He damaged the hoods of two vehicles.
A municipal police patrol immediately went to the scene. The officers apprehended the vandals. One of the detainees was behaving strangely, so the police were called. As it turned out, both suspects were drunk. The first had a blood alcohol level of 0.8 per mille, while the second had more than half a per mille. What is more, small amounts of marijuana were found on one of the vandals.
Further proceedings in the case are being conducted by the Bolesławiec police.
