Uniformed officers from Bolesławiec described their intervention in Pisarzowice, in Lubań County, as follows:

Explosive material in the form of German 1,000 g Sprengbuechse 24 and 100 g Bohrpatrone 28 demolition charges, found on a property during cleanup work.

Our page is dedicated to educating the public about the dangers posed by unexploded ordnance, ammunition that failed to fire, and explosive and dangerous objects of military origin, as well as the rules to follow after finding them.

It should be understood that explosives used in military technology are, in practice, completely resistant to weather conditions and retain their explosive properties regardless of their date of manufacture.

If you have any suspicion about a found object, call the bomb disposal specialists.

The bomb disposal specialists will remove the danger; they are properly equipped and trained to do so.

What should you do if you find unexploded ordnance or ammunition that failed to fire?

  1. Do not touch the object.
  2. Keep bystanders, such as children, away from the site and mark it.
  3. Immediately report the matter by calling the emergency number 112; notify the police, municipal police, fire service or forestry service.
