In the first days of the exercise in Drawsko Pomorskie, Polish and German subunits had the opportunity to take part in joint tactical and live-fire training. Since the Drawsko training area is one of the largest in Europe and also has many developed training facilities, the troops can fully utilize their potential there.

In addition to tactical training, integrating subunits and operating equipment, the soldiers began with firing their individual weapons. The firing took place at two adjacent ranges.

The training leaders—both the allies from the 41st Panzer Grenadier Brigade and those from the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade—conducted a series of proficiency exercises during which the soldiers carried out static and dynamic firing with long firearms. There was also firing from behind cover and at appearing targets.

Training stations also played an important role: the soldiers improved their skills in battlefield first aid, communications, and searching people and vehicles. It should be remembered that despite differences in the types of weapons and the way the firing was conducted, safety conditions were equally important for all soldiers.

The soldiers themselves assure us that the intensity and the difficulty of the tasks will increase each day. The aim is to assess as effectively as possible the level of training and cooperation among the allies.
