Who can serve in the police?

  • a Polish citizen of good repute who has not been convicted by a final court judgment of a criminal offence or a fiscal offence;
  • enjoying full public rights;
  • having at least secondary education;
  • being physically and mentally capable of serving in armed formations subject to special service discipline, which the person is prepared to obey;
  • providing a guarantee of maintaining confidentiality in accordance with the requirements set out in regulations on the protection of classified information.
