Officers of the Police Station in Kruszyn, based on the information they gathered, identified a suspect in the case of damage to the pitch in Ocice and causing losses worth PLN 1,000. The perpetrator, despite having a three-year court-imposed driving ban, drove a car to the vicinity of the community centre and pitch. After some time, he became bored sitting in the car with a friend, so he decided to drive onto the pitch, where, for fun, he repeatedly performed controlled slides, destroying the turf.
The 26-year-old now faces up to five years in prison.
