On Wednesday, April 21, Bolesławiec police officers conducted the “Bus” operation. In recent years, the number of private carriers has risen sharply, as has the number of accidents involving buses and trucks. The recurring “Bus” operation aims to improve the safety of passengers and other road users.
Officers inspected 95 vehicles. They confiscated 50 registration certificates (mainly because of the poor technical condition of the vehicles) and issued 63 fines. What is more, the police caught one drunk driver.
