– Just before the weekend, officers from the Dzierżoniów traffic unit noticed two cars driving through one of the city’s intersections. The BMW was being towed by a passenger Opel, and the vehicles were moving far from smoothly. The policewomen therefore intervened – reports asp. szt. Monika Kaleta from the press team of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław.
The result of the inspection? Surprising! The Opel was driven by a 14-year-old, while a 23-year-old man was behind the wheel of the BMW—and, to make matters worse, he did not have a driving licence.
Both vehicles were taken to the police car park, and the drivers’ cases will now be handled by the court.
Spokeswoman:
It also remains necessary to establish ownership of the car driven by the boy, as his legal guardian had no documents for the vehicle. To make matters worse, the mandatory insurance had not been purchased, and the Guarantee Fund was notified.
