On Saturday at 9:00 a.m., a total of 130 recruits from the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment in Bolesławiec and the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade in Świętoszów took the military oath at the Bolesławiec market square.
In addition to the recruits’ families, those present at the market square included, among others, the commanders of both units, the commander of the US Army soldiers stationed in Bolesławiec, representatives of the city and county authorities, the police and fire service, as well as residents of Bolesławiec.
During the ceremony, the commanders of the units from Bolesławiec and Świętoszów awarded outstanding recruits. The ceremony was accompanied by the military orchestra from Żagań.
