Some Bolesławiec residents are outraged and are emailing us. On Wednesday, the largest car park in the city centre was closed. Children began drawing with chalk on the square in preparation for Thursday’s event. From 10:00, children are to draw “happiness” on the square as part of the “All Children Are Ours...” campaign for Ukraine. Later, at 12:00, balloons will be released into the sky.

“This makes life difficult for residents. And then there is the littering caused by balloons. So much is said about ecology, yet here they will be releasing balloons. They will surely fall somewhere later,” a reader writes to us in an email.
The campaign is organised by municipal companies with the support of the Police and the Municipal Police.
