Police officers from the Lwówek Śląski police station received a report on April 17, in the evening, that a man had been wounded with a knife on one of the streets in Lwówek Śląski. – The officers who arrived at the scene determined that the victim had been stabbed by a man known to him during an argument – reports Sergeant Olga Łukaszewicz, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski. – Moreover, the perpetrator threatened to take his life.
The victim was taken to hospital, while investigators began searching for the knifeman.
The following day, officers obtained information that enabled them to determine where the suspect was staying. The spokesperson said: – The 23-year-old from Lwówek County was arrested and placed in a police cell.
The arrested man was charged with causing minor bodily harm and making criminal threats. At the prosecutor's request, the court remanded the aggressor in temporary custody for three months. The 23-year-old faces up to two years in prison.
