The incident took place during the night of April 17–18. After 1:00 a.m., emergency services were called to a BMW driver who lost control of the vehicle in Gościszów, went off the road and crashed into a pile of stones.
It turned out that the 30-year-old BMW driver, a resident of Bolesławiec County, was completely drunk; a test showed more than 3 per mille of alcohol in his system. Another resident of our county prevented the 30-year-old from continuing to drive.
The irresponsible driver was detained. He now faces up to two years behind bars.
