The incident occurred on Easter evening in Nowogrodziec. The driver, a 31-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, lost control of the vehicle, veered off the road and hit a pole.
As it turned out, the 31-year-old was completely drunk; a test showed 2 per mille of alcohol in his system.
The extremely irresponsible man was arrested. He now faces up to two years behind bars.
