The photographs were taken by Paweł Łączny, who in 2021 won the Grand Press Photo award for a photograph of a nurse from Bolesławiec during the pandemic. The portrait showed the woman’s face bearing marks left by protective clothing and equipment used against the coronavirus.
This year, the photographer took a series of photographs of the staff, which were later presented at the Stary Theatre during the ceremony naming the Bolesławiec hospital after St. Luke.
