Reader wrote in an email to the editorial office:
A vandal is prowling Nowogrodziec, damaging cars on Asnyka Street. A week ago, from Friday to Saturday, he punctured a tyre and scratched my girlfriend’s car (a Peugeot).
He added: – Now, on Sunday, he damaged my BMW as well, also scratching it with a sharp object and smashing the rear window.
He also gave a description of the potential perpetrator: – Witnesses say that a grey VW Touran with DBL registration plates has been driving around quite frequently recently. A slim man wearing glasses and facial hair, a baseball cap.
The BMW case was reported to the police on 12 April. (This information was confirmed by the spokesperson for KPP Bolesławiec.) The losses were estimated at nearly PLN 15,000.
Let us remind you: such an act of vandalism carries a sentence of up to five years in prison.
