– On one of the roads in Brunów, in the Chocianów municipality, a police patrol made up of officers from the Police Station in Chocianów and the Police Post in Przemków decided to check the driver of a passenger Audi. The clear audible and visual signals emitted by the police car initially caused the German-made vehicle to slow down, but after a moment the driver pressed the accelerator and decided to flee – reports junior warrant officer Przemysław Ratajczyk from the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław.
The officers immediately began a pursuit, which ended after several hundred metres when the Audi driver lost control of the vehicle and ended his escape by crashing into a tree. Spokesperson: – However, this was not the end of the intervention, as the fugitive continued to resist the officers. The uniformed officers eventually subdued the aggressive man, who turned out to be a 40-year-old resident of the Chocianów municipality.
It soon became clear why the 40-year-old had tried to flee. It turned out that he did not have a driving licence and had got behind the wheel under the influence of amphetamine and methamphetamine.
