On Thursday, 7 April, at 6:00 p.m., a ceremony naming the County Hospital in Bolesławiec after Saint Luke began at the Old Theatre in Bolesławiec. The ceremony is attended, among others, by the city authorities with Mayor Piotr Roman and the county authorities with Starost Tomasz Gabrysiak, hospital officials with director Kamil Barczyk, the Bishop of Legnica, Rev. Andrzej Siemieniewski, hospital chaplain Rev. Andrzej Jarosiewicz and PiS Senator Rafał Ślusarz.

The ceremony is dedicated to the hospital in Bolesławiec, so it will address the hospital’s mission and the evolution of the Bolesławiec hospital brand. After the bishop consecrates the commemorative plaque, a film about the life of the county hospital and its departments, clinics and Accident and Emergency Department will be shown. The hospital’s investments will also be presented. Meanwhile, the theatre lobby will host a photo presentation entitled “A Hospital Is People.”

During the ceremony, the “Wspierajmy Zdrowie” foundation will hold a collection to support refugees from Ukraine staying in Bolesławiec County.
