District police officers from the Bolesławiec unit arrested a 27-year-old man who was wanted because he had a prison sentence to serve for theft. As it turned out, while the young resident of Bolesławiec was hiding from justice, he managed to commit further offences.

Before the arrested man was taken to prison, he was charged with driving under the influence of an intoxicating substance and 10 fuel thefts. At various petrol stations, the 27-year-old would pull up, fill his car and drive away without paying.
Furthermore, a police officer from the Investigative Department of the Bolesławiec command proved that the serial thief had got behind the wheel 11 times despite having his driving privileges revoked.
The young resident of the City of Ceramics now faces an additional sentence of up to five years in prison.
