Officers from the Bolesławiec Police unit detained a 25-year-old man as a result of operational activities. He is suspected of causing serious bodily injury to the victim. While drinking alcohol, the perpetrator attacked the victim, punching him in the face and then kicking him in the body. The blows inflicted by the Bolesławiec resident resulted in the need for surgical intervention and caused serious bodily injury.
The perpetrator was acting while reoffending. The incident occurred at the end of December 2021. The aggressor went into hiding, hoping to avoid responsibility for his actions.
Based on the evidence collected and medical documentation, the court, at the request of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Bolesławiec, ordered the suspect’s temporary detention for a period of three months.
The man faces up to 15 years in prison.
