At the new headquarters of the County Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec, an official oath-taking ceremony for officers was held. Three new officers joined the Bolesławiec police force, while the Lower Silesian garrison increased its personnel by 62 police officers.
The oath documents were presented to the young officers by the county police commander, Insp. Norbert Kurenda.
The officers say: “People interested in serving in the Police are invited to begin the recruitment process.”

Who can serve in the Police?
- a Polish citizen of impeccable reputation who has not been convicted by a final court judgment of a criminal offense or a fiscal offense;
- enjoying full public rights;
- having at least secondary education;
- having the physical and mental capacity to serve in armed formations subject to special service discipline, which they are prepared to follow;
- providing assurance that they will maintain confidentiality in accordance with the requirements set out in regulations on the protection of classified information.
