In Nowa Sól, the Polish K-1 Rules pro/am Championships were held on 4–5 March; the organizers were MFC Makowski Fighting Championship and the Polish Kickboxing Association. Selected male and female competitors took part (based on achievements from the previous two years)—the best of the best from Poland.

Kamil Dychała competed in the -71 kg category. In his first bout, he faced a competitor from Sparta Gym Warszawa Szymon Samorajczyk and won the bout in the first round by technical knockout.

In the semifinal, the Bolesławiec fighter had a tough bout with Dawid Siek from KS Sporty Walki Piła, winning 3:0. In the final, he faced Krystian Topczewski, a decorated competitor from Ragnarok Białystok and the 2020 professional Polish K-1 champion. And... he defeated his opponent in the first round by technical knockout.

Thus, the Bolesławiec native won the Polish K-1 Rules pro/am championship title in the -71 kg category. What is more, Kamil Dychała was selected as the best competitor of these Polish championships.

It is worth adding that in 2021, Kamil Dychała came close to winning the championship belt. Competing in the same weight category as now, he reached the final even then. His opponent was Mateusz Różak from Tarnów. However, Kamil’s split eyebrow caused the bout to be stopped in the second round after consultation with a doctor. This year, though, the Bolesławiec native reached the very top.
