The Bolesławiec salt graduation tower uses organic brine from Zabłocie, a spa town. Breathing air saturated with Zabłocie brine for one hour is equivalent to spending three days by the sea.
The official opening of the salt graduation tower took place on 1 March 2022. The symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony was performed by Bolesławiec mayor Piotr Roman and PWiK president Józef Król, accompanied by preschoolers.
The Bolesławiec salt graduation tower was built on a hexagonal plan. The interior of the wooden structure is filled with bundles of blackthorn branches, over which Zabłocie brine flows, breaking up as it runs over the individual branches. Zabłocie brine has confirmed medicinal properties and the highest iodine content in the world: 875 times more than seawater.
