As reported by the Marshal's Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship:

In connection with Russia's attack on Ukraine, Cezary Przybylski, Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, together with the Board of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship – in agreement with the Board of Koleje Dolnośląskie S.A. – decided to provide free train travel on Koleje Dolnośląskie for all Ukrainian citizens.

The local government adds:

Every Koleje Dolnośląskie passenger holding Ukrainian citizenship will receive a so-called zero-fare ticket.

The new rules apply from 26 February 2022 to Sunday, 6 March of this year.

It also adds:

Depending on how the situation in Ukraine develops, the period during which the discount applies may be extended.

– We express our solidarity with the Ukrainian people and our readiness to provide assistance – enabling Ukrainian citizens to travel free of charge on Koleje Dolnośląskie trains is one of the measures. – says Cezary Przybylski, Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship.
