Officers from the Criminal Division of the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters detained two men suspected of smuggling a significant quantity of drugs from the Netherlands and secured the illegal substances.

As a result of operational activities, police officers established that two men acting together were awaiting a package containing illegal materials. Delivery of the parcel had been commissioned to a company involved, among other things, in transporting packages.
The result? Officers intercepted a package containing 166 ecstasy tablets and 6,400 commercial portions of marijuana.
The detainees are residents of Lower Silesia, aged 29 and 28. At the request of the Bolesławiec District Prosecutor’s Office, the court temporarily remanded both men in custody for three months.
The younger detainee now faces between three and fifteen years in prison. The older man is a repeat offender, so he must expect a longer sentence.
