Let us recall. In January, we described a very similar incident that took place on Generała Nila Street in Bolesławiec.
At the time, we reported:
Community police officers from the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec arrested a 37-year-old Ukrainian citizen suspected of violating the bodily integrity of a public official. District Police Headquarters:
The offender first obstructed the work of medical emergency responders who were assisting his friend and then struck a female paramedic in the face. The aggressor was restrained by a second paramedic and then handed over to police officers called to the scene. The incident took place in a public place, in a car park by a shop.
At the time of his arrest, the 37-year-old Ukrainian citizen had 4.8 per mille of alcohol in his system. He has already been charged in the case. He was unable to rationally explain his behaviour. By court decision, he was fined and ordered to pay compensation to the injured woman.
Before the Bolesławiec police statement appeared, a reader informed us about the entire incident. According to the information provided, the situation took place on Saturday, 15 January, at approximately 9:30 p.m., on Generała Nila Street in Bolesławiec. The emergency services were dispatched to an intoxicated man lying on the pavement.
The man in question was indeed under the influence of alcohol, but had no injuries. He did not require hospitalisation either. The police were called to the scene. (The aim was to establish the “injured” man’s place of residence and take him home.)
At that point, one of the witnesses to the incident, a Ukrainian citizen, became aggressive. Reader:
He began provoking the emergency medical team, reducing the distance, verbally harassing them and nudging with his elbow; he walked away and returned several times! At one point, as he was walking past the female paramedic, he struck her cheek with an open hand.
He added that as early as Monday, 17 January, the aggressor appeared before the court and received a PLN 1,500 fine. The 37-year-old will also have to pay PLN 300 in compensation to the injured woman.
